Not the VC per se since it has a point source HF limit of a ~ 4" dia' pipe [~13543"/sec/pi/4" = ~1072 Hz] and why some early 12" wide range radio/console drivers had as small as ~ 3/4" dia. VCs, but if the diaphragm it's attached to has sufficient curvature combined with the TL and breakup modes to reach the extreme HF.

In short, typical cone/dome drivers are only point sources up to the VC's pipe cut-off, shifting at best to euphonically pleasing noise for the rest of its usable BW.

They do seem keep calling me.

i bet they would do nicely in a one of GMs TL boxes. 54" X 12.75" x 10" (guesstament) with a 1" dome tweeter.

+1 'Those in the know' need to have a secret society nowadays to discuss certain 'things'.

Speaking of FB, I'm 'joined' with 'notifications' on a number of groups and haven't had any updates since the 8th! Normally I get a bunch a day.
